Year 2019 news

We commissioned 8 new gas turbine generators and did work in Australia, Belarus, Italy, Poland, Tunisia, UAE and the UK.  We completed more G59 witnessed testing this year, for embedded generation, than ever before.  This is only set to increase with National Grid’s requirement to update all G59 protection to the latest settings via the Accelerated Loss of Mains Change Programme.  We continue to be the lead commissioning engineers on a major 132/11kV substation upgrade in the UK and to consult for other generation projects both large and small.  We enjoyed more work within the Energy from Waste sector operating as a consultant to a major operator across numerous sites.  We continue to tackle any issues that are raised by our clients and relish the opportunity to take on even the most complex problems.  We continue to employ new graduates from top universities and thereby expect to secure our future.

Year 2018 news

We commissioned 8 new gas turbine generators, one 132 kV mesh corner and, too many to count, gas engines of the type that look like diesel engines and switchboards at 33 kV and 11kV.  Our work overseas was in France, Italy, Netherlands, Indonesia, Iraq, Thailand, UAE and Ghana.  Our best friends know that we get each job done completely and efficiently and all the technical glitches are resolved quickly and painlessly.  Overall, we are probably the best value of any company anywhere.

Year 2012 news

Whilst we tend to focus on glitzy generation and protection, we should remember that we continue to do solid planning and project work for 11 kV distribution in the North West of the UK.  This renewal and automation work proceeds at a fairly constant level from within this company and also through a wholly owned subsidiary.

Year 2011 news

We saw an increase in design work this year with protection studies at all voltages between 11 kV and 380kV.  The sophistication in modern multifunction protection relays is amazing, even to us, and all of it is realised in software.  We commissioned 4 new generator sets and 4 repaired generators this year on 6 sites and provided technical support and maintenance at many other sites at home and abroad.
